The first forced reset trigger built specifically for the Ruger® 10/22® platform. NSPEC Innovations machined this from 316 stainless steel in the USA — designed to work across all 10/22 generations, match grade trigger packs, and OEM-spec bolts. This is not a plug-and-play AR trigger. It is a precision rimfire upgrade for shooters who know how to fit and tune a trigger group.

Read Before You Buy — Fitting Required on Some Builds
Minor fitting and/or polishing of the FRT may be required depending on your 10/22 receiver, bolt, or trigger pack. This is normal for rimfire FRT systems and is documented with a full fitting video. If you are not comfortable with light hand-fitting of trigger components, this product may not be right for you. If you are — it runs exceptionally.
✓Works in all Ruger 10/22 generations — minor fitting may vary by generation, age, round count, and trigger pack
✓Machined from 316 stainless steel — corrosion resistant, hard-wearing, built for rimfire duty cycles
✓100% USA made by NSPEC Innovations
✓Compatible with OEM trigger packs, BX trigger packs, and OEM-spec bolts. Get a match grade trigger is highly recommended for optimal performance.
✓Compatible with most 10/22 clones using OEM-style bolts and trigger packs
✓Forced reset mechanism — one round per trigger pull, mechanically reset by bolt travel
✓Recommended ammo: CCI Mini-Mag for optimal cycling reliability
✓Metal trigger shoe required — must be used with a steel reset lever; polymer shoe will not work
Polish for Best Results
NSPEC recommends polishing the bolt, hammer, FRT, and all parts contacting the FRT and hammer to a glass-smooth finish. This is standard practice for high-performance rimfire trigger work and dramatically improves reset feel and reliability. Not required to function — required to function at its best.

Fitment & Tuning
The 10/22 platform has meaningful variation between receivers, bolts, and trigger housings across generations and manufacturers. Minor fitting is a normal and expected part of installing a rimfire FRT — not a defect. NSPEC provides a complete fitting video covering every adjustment task.
01
Profile Reset Levers
Shape reset lever contact surfaces to avoid housing drag or binding. A razor blade allows precision shaping of lever geometry. This is the most common fitting task.
02
Round & Polish the Bolt
Round and polish the underside and back of the bolt for smoother reset engagement. Use a sanding block, polishing pad, and file set. A glass-smooth finish here dramatically improves FRT feel and consistency.
03
Adjust Lever Timing
Dial in lever timing for a clean, tactile reset without extra trigger drag. This is the final tuning step — small adjustments here are the difference between a good FRT and a great one.
04
Polish All Contact Points
Polish the bolt, hammer, FRT, and all parts in contact with the FRT and hammer to a glass-smooth finish. This step applies to every build regardless of how little other fitting was needed.
Fitting Tools
🔪
Razor blade — precision shaping of reset lever contact surfaces
🧱
Sanding block — smoothing contact points and rounding the bolt underside
✨
Polishing pad — final finish on all contact surfaces
📐
File set — material removal where sanding isn't enough
These tools are not necessary in most cases — many installs require only polishing. They are listed for builders who encounter fitment issues.
Installation
Intended for experienced users familiar with firearm assembly and light hand-fitting. Improper installation can cause malfunctions. If you have questions about fitting, watch the NSPEC fitting video before starting.
Break-in period: Ensure your 10/22 is fully broken in and functioning correctly before installing the FRT. Installing on a new, unbroken-in firearm may have the reverse effect of what you're looking for.
Trigger shoe: You must use a metal trigger shoe when using the steel reset lever. A polymer shoe is not compatible.
Recommended ammo: CCI Mini-Mag .22 LR for optimal cycling. Bulk ammo and low-velocity rounds may cause cycling issues with any FRT system.
Safety & Liability
By purchasing or using this FRT, you accept full responsibility for proper installation and safe operation. Improper use may result in accidental discharge, serious injury, or death. The user assumes all liability for damage, wear, or malfunction resulting from installation or use. Installation by a qualified gunsmith is recommended if you are not experienced with rimfire trigger fitting.

I ordered this thinking I would beat the next stupid ban. So the trigger arrived very fast, just a few days, and I didn't pay for the extra shipping charge for getting it faster. Wasn't needed in my case. This was so easy to install a blind person could do it. Then I took it to the range and I expected it not to work like it was described. OMG did my face light up! Burned up two magazines in less than 10 seconds I think. And is still safe, and it retains the semi auto, or one shot per pull capability. I'm buying more for my other AR's now.

It wasn't exactly what I was expecting but I gave it a try. The installation video sucks because I couldn't see what he was doing but I ended up getting it. You have to learn how to run it as there's a little bit of a trick to it but once you do that it's fun to use.
First time using the Disruptor drop-in trigger I couldn't get it to work, even after swapping in an H2 buffer. This H3 heavy-duty spring combo finally did the trick. Rifle is an older S&W Sport II. Suppressor is SilencerCo Velos 556. Very happy with the result and looking forward to adding Disruptor FRT and this buffer/spring to at least two more rifles.
Had some initial issues with the trigger but customer service was easy to get ahold of and took care of me. Shipping was super fast, and everything is working as intended now. I wouldn’t think twice about ordering from them again.

Hey Joel,
This is GREAT to hear, and glad it was super easy
The FRT dropped right in and ran wonderfully! It cycled 22 rounds in roughly 2 seconds.
My son's first experience firing anything like this and he absolutely loved it.
I highly recommend this product for your TX22.
Safe, Semi, FRT. Until you experience it, you just don’t know what it’s like. But once you do know, you’ll want more. An addiction that is backed by the Constitution. 2A for LIFE.
Worked amazingly. Was everything I hoped it would be. Would definitely recommend these guys to anyone looking to purchase firearms accessories. Had a couple small order issues in the past and they were handled very quickly and expertly. As a result I try to give them as much of my business as possible.
Super easy to install, runs smooth and without failure in a completely stock $500 American tactical AR, there are plenty of videos showing how to install it. Would and am buying this trigger kit again, and pairing it with a lighter spring kit, there isn’t any weird quirks with it, I simply installed it with some oil and my factory pins and springs and it worked without polishing or any other modifications. Super happy with it!

Straight drop in, no modifications. Ran great no issues yet
Functioned fantastically. I absolutely recommend a heavier buffer. I have a Ruger AR lower and it fit perfectly. Really really enjoys the metal mags. Had loading issues, disappeared when I swapped to metal mags. Selector switch works slightly better than original. I used a extra spring I had laying around and got an H3 buffer. Make sure you have the full auto BCG or this product will not function.
I ended up needing something slightly lighter to run the G Lever FRS, but the H2.5 is probably a good option for a suppressed build with more back pressure
Had to do a minor tweak to tappet wire but other than that it was a drop in kit. Seems to be made of quality steel. We all are now having great fun with it.
My first ARC-Fire ran like a champ! I never had a hiccup or problem, and everyone on the range stared like I was a criminal...🤣 It was the V1, and man I was happy. Then all of a sudden...
I watched a video that showcased the ARC-Fire V2, with a 0-45°-90° ambi selector, and I had to have one. After all, it was going in my HK MR556 A4, and it has the markings on the lower for a 0°-45° selector, and I, of course, wanted it to match. So I bought one...
While visiting AS Designs website, I noticed they sold HK style selector levers for their ARC-Fire V2. So I bought some...
You CANNOT go wrong with this company! Their products are, in my and many others opinion, the best FRT on the market today! Just go to YouTube and pull up a 'Juicy Media' video, and he demonstrates a bunch of different brands of FRT and explains the pros/cons of the others, and explains why he prefers AS Designs!
5 MF'ing ☆'s~!!!
This enhanced semi-auto trigger is amazing the install was easy the function is great the only thing would be you need a t10 tool of your own to hold the other side. But overall 10/10 this mad my cheap Anderson ar turn heads!!!
You need to read all info on this product as it requires some filing and polishing to get the perfect fit. I recommend you watch a video on how to correctly do this. Patience is key here.
Great item use on my 10/22 works awesome after all the sanding and polishing and test fire until finally functioning normally great item good to buy from. It would be nice if it comes with installation instructions
Shipping was extremely slow. The item seems OK gor a stamped piece of metal. No directions at all. Found a video that shows similar piece. Haven't shot it yet. We will see if I wasted $50 and adjust rating accordingly.
Overall, not a well made product. It is metal so better than plastic or 3d printed. I have years of experience with firearms. Repair, builds, and modifications are my specialty. This frt just doesn’t meet my expectations. Truthfully it shoots faster at he trigger, just not as advertised.
It seems well built, but the amount of tuning necessary to run is somewhat understated. I purchased the ART as is, knowing this. However, what I did not realize is that it does not include the plastic pieces that are used for test fitting. I started the process of removing material from the ART without these parts and am now concerned that I may have taken too much off the bottom (the part that interacts with the trigger to perform the reset). There were instructional videos that were available, although they were not particularly detailed, and I had to search them out. In its current condition my ART will cycle CCI mini mags (as instructed by the guide), however more polishing may be necessary as it does not yet reset the trigger. If possible, I may edit this review once (and if) I am able to get it to run as intended.
Had 2 gunsmith work on it they both have installed them on others and couldn't get it to even try to work took it back out and got to looking and hit was twisted from shipping is all they could figure out or was warped from factory and now I just wasted my money for nothing but a piece off warped metal
Complete junk 2 different gunsmiths tried to get it to work and no luck after looking at the frt it is warped to the point it is twisted and now can't return it because they sanded on it
Store owner replied:
Hey this product requires a LOT of tuning and gun smithing as stated in the listing, its also recommending to have a BX match grade trigger, This is probably the most difficult FRT to get installed on the market categorically. The quality of product is GREAT it is just a challenge for beginner and some novice enthusiast. We will absolutely do what ever we can to get you helped out, returned etc.
I tried everything. unfortunately since there was no instruction, I had to rely on you tube video's to figure out the best way to file down till it fit just right but even then it didn't work as it should. It does not do what it's intended to do at all. If you could perhaps send me an instruction or a phone call to assist I would really apricate.
Bought it. Recieved quickly. Watched video. My FRT did not have the groove for the hammer spring. Called NSPEC they said call EP Armory. Called EP Armory, person that answered agreed that there should be a capture groove. Next question was do I have a file. It does say fitting required. No problem, that shouldn't apply to the manufacturer totally missing a process. Can't recommend. I'm retired and do have bench top mill and can fix this. Shouldn't have to.
Received quickly and build quality is solid. Due to the amount of “tuning”, which I still haven’t locked in, the price is a bit ify for me. Installation can be done blind folded with hands tied behind your back. Easy doesn’t do it justice. There is frustration due to the lack of tools to make tuning easier to accomplish. My setup consists of a BX trigger from Ruger and an Adaptive Tactical stock for my Ruger 10/22 Charger Takedown version. Cant wait to have it dialed in. I would like to see a groove on the eyelet end creating a home for the spring to live.
i have been sanding and filing for about 4 hours now, its 3 am and i am tired and my fingers sting. please for future buysers just get a drop in. the work is not worth the money saved and there are absolutly NOOOOOO INSTALLATION VIDEOS DESPITE SAYING THERE ARE. im serious, this thing might aswell be a chew toy
When I put it in bolt would not operate was no instructions sent so I went to utube and seen i had to file it down with sand paper. So I sanded till my finders hurt and sanded it to much I guess cause now bolt works but it still shots just like it did 1 shot at a time
This this was the biggest waste of time and money, I could not get it to work, there's just too much metal on metal friction required to make it function. I have to imagine the frt for the 10/22 from MARS is probably the better option. I absolutely do not recommend anyone else go through the hassle of trying to get this to work.
