Refund policy

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.

Returns accepted within 30 days for new, unused products in original packaging. Customer is responsible for return shipping. Original shipping charges are non-refundable. Returns may be subject to a 20% restocking fee. Orders placed in violation of state or local restrictions, refused deliveries, or customer-requested cancellations after shipment are subject to all shipping costs plus a 20% restocking fee.



If your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package. Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be accepted.

Damages and issues
Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.


Exceptions / non-returnable items

Non-Returnable Items & Exceptions

To maintain product integrity, comply with manufacturer requirements, and ensure customer safety, the following items are not eligible for return, exchange, or refund except where required by applicable law.

Non-Returnable Items

  • Firearm trigger assemblies and fire control components that have been installed, modified, used, or show signs of installation.
  • Opened or used lubricants, cleaners, chemicals, and consumable products.
  • Special-order, custom-order, or made-to-order products.
  • Clearance, closeout, final sale, or discontinued items.
  • Products with missing parts, damaged packaging, or altered serial numbers or markings.
  • Products returned without prior authorization.
  • Digital products, downloadable content, gift cards, or promotional items.

Partisan / Triggered Company Warranty Policy

Partisan® and Triggered Company® trigger products are manufactured, warranted, and serviced exclusively by Triggered Company as the original equipment manufacturer (OEM).

The Takedown Tools is an authorized retailer and distributor only and is not authorized to inspect, repair, replace, modify, diagnose, or process warranty claims for these products.

If you believe your Partisan or Triggered Company trigger has a manufacturing defect or requires warranty service, you must contact the manufacturer directly through theTriggeredCompany.com and follow their warranty procedures.

Any trigger that has been installed, used, modified, or submitted for warranty evaluation is not eligible for return or refund through The Takedown Tools.

Installation & Compatibility

Customers are responsible for verifying compatibility with their firearm and ensuring compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws before placing an order.

Returns will not be accepted due to:

  • Incompatibility with a customer’s firearm or accessories.
  • Improper installation or assembly.
  • Failure to read product descriptions or compatibility information.
  • State or local restrictions that prohibit ownership or possession.

Safety Items

For safety and liability reasons, products that have been installed, fired, modified, or otherwise used cannot be resold as new and are therefore not eligible for return.

Manufacturer Defects

If a product arrives damaged or contains a manufacturing defect that is covered by The Takedown Tools, please contact us within 7 days of delivery with your order number and photographs of the issue.

If the product is manufactured by a third party with its own warranty program, including Partisan or Triggered Company triggers, all warranty service must be handled directly by that manufacturer.

The Takedown Tools Discretion

The Takedown Tools reserves the right to inspect all returned merchandise and determine eligibility for any refund, replacement, store credit, or exchange. Products received in used, damaged, incomplete, or non-resalable condition may be refused or subject to a restocking fee of up to 20%, where applicable.



Unfortunately, we cannot accept returns on sale items or gift cards.


Exchanges
The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item.
